It All Begins With A Thought

What we think determines what we believe and what we believe determines who we are and what we can have.  You are what you think before you are what you believe or do.

     Everything…I mean every thing begins first with a thought whether it is Bill Gates’ Microsoft, John Johnson’s Ebony/Jet empire, Oprah’s Harpo Productions, Steven Spielberg’s Dreamworks, Jordin Sparks’ winning appearance on American Idol, LeBron James’ ability to play basketball, T.D. Jakes’ ability to communicate, Light of the World Christian Church, the City On A Hill, the Senior Living Centers, the Family Life Center, the Sanctuary all started with a thought.  Every marriage, ministry, book, play, movie, sermon, business, building, and even baby begins with a thought. 

     My proposition is that our thinking is the critical factor (even before faith) that God uses to give us both our identity and our dominion.  If you think right, you live right, give right, love right, get right, do right.  If you think wrong, you live wrong, give wrong, love wrong, get wrong, and do wrong.

There is no more powerful truth than this from the throne of God:  “As a man (or woman) thinketh in his (her) heart, so is he …”   Get it and you’ve got it; miss it and nothing else matters.
